the background represents Juli's feelings for Bryce. it can also be flipped because, this is just a prediction, maybe by high school or something, he will start to like her an Juli's feelings for him will diminish.
I agree with you that this is possible! Great Blog background change Bryson! What specific cool was the first moment to clue all of you into the idea that Bryce's opinion of Juli was starting to change. Is there a quote in the text that you would use to support this idea?
I remember two parts when I thought that the feelings would change but i don't have my book. When Juli started not coming to school after the sycamore tree got cut down Bryce was starting to miss her but didn't admit it. When Juli found out that Bryce was throwing out the eggs Juli got really mad about it so there emotions FLIPPED.
Hi Bryson: I was thinking of you this week when I was reading. Somewhere between page 70 and 140, Bryce has a conversation with his friend Garrett It was easier for him to tell a guy his own age, I think - less explaining, less stress ... I'd love to hear what you think about that part when you read it. Until Thursday ...
Bryson I agree I also have made that prediction on Kira's blog so check it out.
ReplyDeleteSame here! I also think that Juli's feelings will diminish for Bryce because she'll give up trying to get him and his kiss.
